About us:

Peel Health Campus (PHC) is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, and now operates with 206 licenced beds, bays and treatment areas.

In late 2020 the WA Government announced that full operation of the Peel Health Campus (PHC) would transfer to South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) on the completion of the current contract with existing private operator Ramsay Health Care (RHC).

Transitioning the hospital to public hands paves the way for the hospital’s redevelopment and service transformation to meet the needs of the Peel-Murray region.

Safe, efficient high-quality care that supports not only the PHC but the entire South Metropolitan Health Service.

As a member of the leadership team for the Acute Care directorate, the Co-Director, in conjunction with the Nurse Director, is jointly responsible and accountable for achieving the strategic and operational objectives of the service as defined by the Hospital.
