Salary: MP Year 1-9 $675.57 - $861.88 per session (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and applicable allowances)
This is a Sessional appointment for 5 years at 10 sessions per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s).

In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons to the position of Medical Co Director for the Neonatology Department. In this position, you will, in partnership with Nursing Co-Director, provide effective leadership, governance, strategic planning and operational management of the clinical stream which includes the NICU’s at Perth Children’s Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital, the Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS) WA and the PREM bank. This role engages with all staff to provide high-quality and efficient patient care consistent with the Health Service’s safety, quality and performance frameworks. As part of the Health Service Management Team, you will also provide clinical and corporate governance within the Service.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital.
