This is a 12-month Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6 months, with the possibility of extension at a reduced FTE.

 

Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking suitably experienced and dynamic General Surgeons with a specialty or interest in Urology to join our General Paediatric Surgery team at Perth Children's Hospital.

 

As part of a multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing specialist surgical services to patients within the Department and a consultation service on request for other patients.
  • Promoting patient quality and safety and provides leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Clinical Director/Head of Department.
