Salary: MP Year 1-2 $188,659 - $197,384 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and professional development allowance).

Position Profile:Senior Registrar - Intensive Care: provides inpatient care within one of the Western Australian Intensive Care Units at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital or Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Please note: whilst all efforts will be taken to allocate you to your preferred site, first preference placement cannot be guaranteed. Requests to rotate between sites will also be considered.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) has a 40 bedded level 3 ICU providing tertiary ICU care for all patients in the South Metropolitan Health Service and related WACHS catchment area. FSH is the primary referral centre for the Western Australian Advanced Heart and Lung Failure Service as well as the WA Cardiopulmonary Transplant Service.
Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) has a 24 bedded level 3 ICU which providing tertiary ICU care (with the exception of cardiac surgery) for all patients in the East Metropolitan Health Service and the related WACHS catchment area. RPH is the primary referral centre for Western Australian Major Trauma and Spinal Injury Service.
Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is a is a 30 bed ICU/HDU currently has 23 ICU beds and 7 HDU beds providing tertiary ICU care for all patients in the North Metropolitan Health Service and related WACHS catchment area. SCGH is the primary referral centre for the Western Australian Liver Transplant service and the Western Australian Neurosurgical service.
Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Area Profile: Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) is Perth’s inner city, tertiary adult hospital and part of the Royal Perth Bentley Group. Area Profile: Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is one of Australia's leading teaching tertiary hospitals. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical service including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery and cardiac care. It is home to WA's largest cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.
