Position Summary |
This is a Recruitment Pool for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/06/2022.
Position Profile: The successful Fellow will have extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of vascular disorders. The Fellow is responsible for the day-to-day management of all vascular patients admitted to SCGH while also being responsible for reviewing patients in the outpatient department. As a successful applicant you will be expected to be involved in research, audit and teaching. The position will follow all training protocols and curriculum established and required by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. You will be directly responsible to the training supervisors throughout the term.
Area Profile: Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is one of Australia's leading teaching tertiary hospitals. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care. It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.
