 This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 10/10/2017 for commencement in 2018.

 

Position Profile: The Plastic Surgery Department is currently seeking a suitably qualified Fellow in Plastic Surgery to undertake inpatient and outpatient surgery care including Telehealth service as instructed and supervised.  Applicants are required to have completion of plastic surgery training to a level that is comparable to Australian plastic surgery training essential as the Fellow will need to do a significant amount of operating with minimal supervision.  Approximately 8-10 years post grad experience and a post graduate plastic surgery qualification comparable to Australian FRACS.  In this role you will be required to provide an on-call service, educate and train all multidisciplinary staff involved in care of any patient, which will be an important aspect of this role.  You will undertake hand surgery, facial surgery, microvascular reconstructive surgery, elective breast surgery, head and neck reconstructive surgery and skin cancer surgery.
