Salary: MP Year 1-2 $188,659 - $197,384 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, 9.5% superannuation and professional development allowance).

Position Profile: The position is in an exciting department with a vision to be a renowned academic plastic & reconstructive surgery centre. The fellow will develop experience in chronic wound care including burn wound care, all aspects of hand surgery, Head & Neck surgery, breast surgery, lower limb surgery & skin cancer surgery & management. The department works in close collaboration with the state rehabilitation centre for the care of pressure injuries. The department is an integral part of the FSH breast cancer MDT, Head & Neck MDT & its own Skin cancer MDT. The fellow will be expected to teach & conduct research. The supervision of the trainees is a critical role for the fellow as we transition into a full teaching/training outfit since its beginning in February 2015.
Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
