WA Country Health Service is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from General Medicine Registrars who are available for commencing in August 2021 at Bunbury Hospital for Fixed Term Full Time and Part Time appointment for 6 months.

Bunbury is a picturesque harbour city on the south west coast of WA, two hours’ drive from Perth in this heart of the state’s premiere holiday region. Bunbury Hospital is the regional hospital for the South West region, comprising a 143-bed hospital that functions as the regional resource centre for the South West region with all major specialties present on site including ICU and CCU/cath lab.
Registrars are required to work with Consultants in the efficient and best practice patient care, timely discharge summaries and efficient discharge planning. Our unit has 35 beds and will expose you to a very wide range of medical presentations. Bunbury Health Campus is accredited for Basic Training with RACP and has an active education program.

Please submit an address to the selection criteria no more than 3 A4 pages outlining the skills, qualifications and experience considered necessary to successfully perform the duties of an Emergency Medicine Registrar. Selection criteria listed below;
ESSENTIAL
1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
2. Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience in Emergency Medicine.
3. Ability to provide teaching, supervision and training support.
4. Demonstrated well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
6. Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
7. Demonstrated commitment to clinical governance within health care
8. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal Cultural respect framework.
DESIRABLE
1. Postgraduate training to diploma or certificate level in Emergency Medicine
2. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing education and research.
3. Current knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity in all aspects of employment and service delivery.
