Position Summary

Please note this is for the Registrar 2021 Intake commencing from 1 February 2021 to 31 January 2022. The above salary rates are effective from October 2018.

 

This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6, 12 or 24 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur at any hospital within WA Country Health Service. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2020.

Suitable candidates to this recruitment process may also be accessed/offered employment by other employers within the WA Health system (e.g. South Metropolitan Health Service, North Metropolitan Health Service, East Metropolitan Health Service, WA Country Health Service, or Child and Adolescent Health Service).

 

Position Profile: This process will be used to fill the following positions to commence work in 2021:

 

Emergency Medicine 

6 x Emergency Medicine Service / Trainee Registrars in Bunbury (12 months)

3 x Emergency Medicine Service/Advanced Trainee Registrars in Geraldton (6 or 12 months)

1 x Emergency Medicine Trainee Registrar in Albany (6 or 12 months)

 

General Medicine

7 x General Medicine Service Registrars in Bunbury (12 months)

5 x General Medicine Service/Advanced Trainee Registrars in Geraldton (12 months)

2 x General Medicine Trainee Registrars in Broome (2 x12 months or 6 months considred)

 

General Surgery

2 x General Surgical Service Registrar in Geraldton (12 months)

3 x General Surgical Service Registrars in Bunbury (12 months)

 

Intensive Care Medicine

5 x Intensive Care Medicine Service / Trainee Registrars in Bunbury (12 months)

 

Medical Education

1 x Medical Education Service Registrar in Central Office (2 x 6 or 1 x 12 months)
